Present Generation 2006 Honda Civic
Many thanks for visiting my Best japanese Cars. This article was written by Scott Myers. I hope this article can give you a lot of information, tips and suggestions.
The 2006 Honda Civic sedan is a technological marvel
and is the most advanced piece of automotive machinery in existence today. Hmm, okay, so maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration. If you’ve been keeping up with car reviews, the praise the new 2006 Honda Civics have been getting would lead you to think that it is indeed some kind of engineering break through. The 2006 Honda Civic may not be the most advanced car on the planet, but for its price range it may be the most practical, and most reliable.
I’ve been driving a Honda Civic for years now
and I’m fiercely loyal to Honda’s lineup. My 1992 Honda Civic has over 200K miles on it, and its only had two problems that required more than a thousand dollars in maintenance. It’s also been in a serious accident, but it shows now signs of its age or experience today. Having said that, I am probably going to pick up a new one soon, but mostly just because I’m tired of the metallic teal color I for some reason thought looked cool, and because the stereo system has completely died. Also, I’m interested in getting one of those spiffy sattelite navigation systems available with the 2006 Honda Civics.
Visit also this website for information about Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
With more than 14 million internal combustion engines built each year, Honda is the largest engine-maker in the world. In 2004, the company began to produce diesel motors, which were both very quiet whilst not requiring particulate filters to pass pollution standards. It is arguable, however, that the foundation of Honda’s success is the motorcycle division. Here you’ll get more information about Honda Motor Co.
So, what’s new with the 2006 Honda Civic
that is winning it so much praise? The first thing I noticed is they gave the car another makeover. Sort of like the makeover they gave the ‘92 model, going from the previous box look to the sleeker model, the ‘06 model is another leap forward towards a sleeker, futuristic, and dynamic design. I have to admit, the 2006 Honda Civic sedan is much more attractive than my 1992 model.
The 2006 Honda Civics have all gotten
a boost to their performance as well. The 2006 Honda Civic sedan now has a 140 horsepower 1.8 liter i-VTEC engine with a Drive-by-Wire Throttle System, giving it more zip than ever. It is also even more fuel efficient than any of the previous Honda Civics, getting an incredible 40 MPG on highways, and 30 MPG in cities. The fuel efficiency alone is a good reason to look into buying a 2006 Honda Civic, but they are also low emission vehicles.
The Honda Civic is an automobile manufactured by Honda
It was introduced in July 1972 as a two-door coupe, followed by a 3-door hatchback version that September. With the transverse engine placement of its 1169 cc engine and front wheel drive, like the British Mini, the car provided good interior space despite overall small dimensions.
Early models of the Civic were typically outfitted with a basic AM radio, rudimentary heater, foam cushioned plastic trim, two-speed wipers, and painted steel rims with a chromed wheel nut cap. The current Civic has become much more luxurious with satellite-linked navigation, a six-speed manual, power locks and power windows available. Still, many regard the Civic as representing a good value for the money, combining good performance, reliability and economy, as well as a very low rate of depreciation. Read more about Honda Civic
Conclusion
As you can tell, I’m pretty much sold on the 2006 Honda Civic, and will probably drive Honda’s for some time to come. They’ve proven to be extremely reliable, efficient, and fun little cars, and are actually extremely affordable as well.
